GREENVILLE, SC — Jeff Dezen Public Relations (JDPR) is pleased to announce the addition of Rebekah Anderson and Victoria Sanders as the company’s Fall 2018 Executive Management Assistance Program (EMAP) interns. The program, a paid internship lasting 12-14 weeks, immerses college-level students in the firm’s client service, content management and strategic media relations initiatives.
Anderson will graduate from Bob Jones University in December with a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Mass Communication. Anderson interned at thyssentrupp Elevator in Atlanta, where she worked in the project management office as an internal communications specialist. She currently works on campus as a student ambassador and as copy editor for the university newspaper, The Collegian.
Sanders will graduate from Bob Jones University in May 2019 with a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Mass Communication. Over the summer, she worked as the upstate field director for Gov. Henry McMaster’s campaign. At BJU, Sanders works as a student ambassador and is currently serving as president of her literary society, Beta Epsilon Chi.
“Our EMAP internship is designed to give students a front row seat into the day-to-day activities of a PR agency while being mentored by account executives,” said Jeff Dezen, founder and president of JDPR. “We’re thrilled for the opportunity to invest in Rebekah and Victoria, and we’re just as excited for them to contribute to our agency.”
