New AAE Raine Riley brings extensive digital and social media experience to Greenville communications firm.
Greenville, S.C. – Jeff Dezen Public Relations (JDPR) announces the addition of Raine Riley as an Assistant Account Executive. Riley’s focus is supporting product launches, brand awareness and reputation management campaigns for JDPR’s lifestyle, power tools and sports groups. JDPR also welcomes Irene Biganzoli and Brooke Fletcher as the Summer 2021 interns as part of the company’s Executive Management Assistance Program (EMAP).
“We are always thrilled to have the opportunity to expand our account support team with new talent. Raine’s experience with digital media brings a keen perspective to this critical service area at JDPR, and we are confident her insights will add value to our team and the work we do for our clients,” said Jeff Dezen, President of JDPR.
Riley recently earned her Master of Arts in Communication, Technology and Society from Clemson University, where she conducted her thesis on narrative advertising. During her graduate program, she worked as a Project Manager at Clemson’s Social Media Listening Center where she tracked and analyzed social conversations and managed the Center’s social media accounts.
Prior to her tenure as a graduate student, Riley served as the first-ever Excursion Coordinator at the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at Clemson University through which she planned and led over 200 unique educational experiences across the world for curious minds and tenured explorers.
“Our internship offers students firsthand exposure to all aspects of public relations,” Dezen added. “Our senior-level account executives work alongside the interns to mentor their immersion in the daily routines of our communications agency and gain hands-on experience with real clients and accounts. Our mentorship structure distinguishes our program from other internships in the category, and we are proud to see students like Irene and Brooke develop their understanding of the industry throughout the course of their internship.”
Biganzoli is a rising senior at the University of South Carolina Upstate, majoring in Communications Mass Media with a double minor in Business & Entrepreneurship and French. She previously interned with a local public relations firm, and was a social media intern for online lifestyle news site Pulp Magazine. At USC, Biganzoli served as Social Media Manager for The Carolinian student news outlet.
Fletcher is a junior communication major at Clemson with minors in psychology and sociology. At Clemson, she is on the PR Student Society of America Press Release Committee, where she has supported PR projects for organizations like The Lot Project and also serves as the Events Coordinator for Clemson FCA. In 2021, she received the Award for Excellence in Civic Leadership from the Department of Communication at Clemson.
