GREENVILLE, SC – Leading strategic communications agency JDPR welcomes the addition of three exceptional interns through its Executive Management Assistance Program (EMAP): Drew Bianco, Jenna Dawley, and Ashley Sexton. The distinguished internship program enables college academics to gain real-world experience in agency work with leading regional and national brands through personalized mentorship opportunities.
Bianco will graduate this Spring from Bob Jones University with a bachelor of arts in communication. Throughout his college career, he garnered extensive work experience from sales associate and merchandiser to programs and events coordinator. In all of his various roles, Bianco remained focused on fostering community and building relationships. His range of experiences and expertise offers a fresh perspective for JDPR’s many hospitality, lifestyle and business-solutions clients.
Dawley is in her third year at Furman University where she is double majoring in English writing and psychology. Dawley is published in The Paladin, Furman University’s renowned student newspaper, where she covered Furman’s clubs and campus culture. Before joining JDPR, she completed research with Furman’s psychology department, through which she presented findings at Furman’s 16th Annual Summer Research Conference for Psychology and Neuroscience as well as the Society for Southeastern Social Psychologists’ (SSSP) 2023 Annual Conference. Dawley’s ability to identify and successfully communicate complex ideas makes her an invaluable asset with JDPR’s manufacturing and telecommunication clients.
Sexton is a business administration major in her last semester at Southern Wesleyan University where she recently concluded her final season on the volleyball team. In addition to collegiate athletics, Sexton coaches youth volleyball in Anderson, SC, and is the social media and marketing intern for both Primus Athlete Partners, a startup soccer recruiting company, and A-town Volleyball. With demonstrated prowess in social marketing, photography and design and a passion for marketing and public relations, Sexton is a welcome addition to the team where she works with JDPR’s health, lifestyle and tech clients.
“Every semester we eagerly await the fresh ideas and perspectives of our new interns,” said agency director Drew Dezen. “We are thrilled to welcome are latest team members who bring a rich assortment of professional and academic backgrounds to our team to kick off 2024.”
JDPR is currently accepting applications for Summer 2024. Interested college students studying communication, marketing, liberal arts, business or related programs should send their resume and cover letter to Raine Riley at rainer@jdpr.com or apply at www.jdpr.com.
