Senior Account Manager

JDPR, a leading marketing communications agency in Greenville, SC, is seeking to hire a Senior Account Manager to join a growing team in a fast-paced environment, representing national brands across a broad range of disciplines within the marketing communications profession, including Public Relations, Media Relations, Marketing and Digital Media.

In addition to a passion for exceeding expectations, the ideal candidate should demonstrate proven experience in the fundamentals of strategic communications, versatile writing skills, ability to direct client interactions and established credentials in national-level media relations. This position requires exemplary organizational, communication and time management skills.

Position Responsibilities

Participating in crafting strategic plans.

Establishing and fortifying client relationships.

Crafting and distributing news releases to local, regional and national media.

Preparing media materials – including news releases, media alerts and FAQs – for distribution to target media.

Managing client meetings and relationships.

Planning and deploying strategic programming, including but not limited to, monitoring, campaign development, content creation, tracking and reporting.

Conducting research on new business projects.

Position Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, business, or relevant field preferred.

4-8 years of demonstrated experience in an agency or related role.
Familiarity with business categories and media related to tools/outdoor power equipment and sports a definite advantage, but not required.

Familiarity with marketing agency project management software, such as SilentPartner or Freshbooks, is a bonus.
